How does infrared touch screen work?

1,Construct the infrared matrix:
The circuit board in the outer frame installed in front of the display is arranged on the four sides of the screen with one-to-one corresponding infrared emitting tubes and receiving tubes, forming an infrared matrix that covers the surface of the screen like a fine "optical network".
2,Normal condition monitoring:
System will continuously scan the infrared matrix.Under the normal condition of nothing touching screen, the infrared ray emitted by the infrared emitting tube can be received by the corresponding receiving tube.And the system is in the stable condition.
3,Touch detection:
When user use finger or other objects infrared touch screen, it will block the horizontal and vertical infrared rays passing through the touch position.Because of occlusion of objects,infrared receiving tube can not receiver corresponding infrared signal.
4,Signal processing and coordinate determination:
The infrared touch screen overlay scanning system determines the occurrence of touch event when the infrared ray is blocked in the horizontal and vertical directions, reports the relevant infrared tube position information to the host, and the host calculates the accurate position of the touch point. The infrared touch screen determines the touch position to realize the response, and has many advantages and no special requirements for the touch body.
